What it does

HoloTap is an iPhone app for trading card collectors that writes a link between a blank NDEF NFC tag and a specific card, then keeps the collection as a vault you can browse and show selectively on a public profile. Sports cards can carry a photo you add yourself. A marketplace side lets you browse collectors, message a seller and make an offer, with prices and terms shown before checkout, and the account is shared with the website. The site notes memberships bought in the app are billed through Apple, and that its separate Android preview only works with previously issued tags.
