What it does
You pick an industry, a US state, a headcount, an annual-revenue band, and which coverages to include: general liability, a business owner's policy, workers' compensation, professional liability, commercial auto, and cyber. The page returns one monthly figure and a wider band, about 30 percent either side. Menlo says the figure starts from published small-business premium medians, with preset adjustments for industry, employees, revenue, and state, and that it is an illustrative estimate, not a carrier quote. Asking for a quote is a separate step.
